About Philmont Scout Ranch
Once part of a 127,000-acre cattle ranch owned by oilman Waite Phillips, this historic land was generously donated to the Boy Scouts of America in 1938. Today, it is famous for its expansive backcountry experiences, dedication to conservation, and deep ties to the history of northern New Mexico—making it the perfect backdrop for our 2026 conference.
